Personality & BehaviorSabu is a gorgeous medium-sized dog, who radiates energy and enthusiasm. Despite a rough patch where he lost weight due to parasites and/or allergies, he’s on the mend and ready to embrace life with his loving forever family. Fully vaccinated with his 5-in-1 shot, Sabu is on track for a healthy future.At the shelter, Sabu’s excitement is contagious, he greets the world with big barks and a zest for life. Although he sometimes seems unsure when interacting with other dogs and may even become a bit snappy, these moments come from his sensitive nature rather than malice. With cats and kids, his behavior is still to be discovered, but there’s promise, as he doesn’t display a hunting instinct.Sabu is housetrained and walks beautifully on a lead, showing excellent manners and a desire to please. His previous owner had to move to a smaller apartment, and now Sabu is ready for a home where he can flourish in an environment that meets his active and spirited personality. Adoption RequirementsHome type : Sabu would thrive best in a home with ample space where he can safely express his energetic personality. A secure garden or yard is ideal, as it provides a safe area for him to play and explore without overwhelming encounters with too many other dogs at once.Experience level : Sabu can sometimes be unsure of other dogs, so a calm and patient owner will help him feel secure.
