Adopt Sally
Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 3 years
Sally came to us from a remote mountain group, where all the dogs had to be careful and patiently trapped. Out of the entire group, Sally was always the most timid. Life before the refusal was touch, and it's raped her into a captive but deeply gentle girl. During her time in foster care, Sally made wonderful progress and began to show her sweet, trusting side. Unfortunately, due to a house move, she had to return to the refugee. In the kennel environment, she may bark at first but this is simply a reflection of her insecurity. Give her time and patience, and you'll see her real nature: soft, kind, and quickly affect. In a kennel environment she does not show her true character. Sally loves her walks, especially when she's with her group, that's where she feels holy and most confident. She would do best in a calm home where she can take things at her own peace, with someone who understands that trust takes time. She's come such a long way already, and we'd love to see that progress continues in a loving home. Sally has so much to offer: quiet loyalty, gentile company, and the joy of watching a shy dog blossom into a happy, trusting friend. Sally is ready for a fresh start with someone who will see past the fear and discover the sweet heart within.
