Ein Mann wendete sich an unsere Tierschützer:innen vor Ort – denn er ist in großer Not. Er rettete mit einer Ehefrau über mehrere Jahre Hunde aus einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe von Zalau. Aktuell leben dort 10 Hunde und 15 Katzen. Nun ist die Frau schwer erkrankt und liegt im Koma. Er kann sich nicht mehr adäquat um die Tiere kümmern und bittet um Hilfe. Selbstverständlich unterstützen wir. So kam Sally in unsere Obhut. Sally hatte dann das Glück und durfte in eine Pflegestelle in Salzgitter reisen. Dort wartet sie jetzt auf ihre finale Familie, damit sie endlich ankommen darf. Sally ist etwa 7,5 Jahre alt und hat eine Größe von ca. 52 cm mit 16 kg. Sie ist bildhübsch. Aktuell ist sie noch sehr schüchtern und braucht viel Zeit, um den Menschen zu vertrauen. Sally zeigt absolut keinerlei Aggressionen. Sie konnte ohne Probleme dem Tierarzt vorgestellt werden und geimpft werden. Ganz vorsichtig und mit Ruhe lässt sie sich auch anfassen. Wir sind uns sicher, dass Sally bei geduldigen Menschen in ruhiger Umgebung auftauen wird. Sie wird Zeit brauchen und sich an ihre neue Umgebung und die Menschen gewöhnen. Daher sollte man sich in jedem Fall auf eine individuelle Eingewöhnungszeit einstellen. Sally wünscht sich Menschen, die ohne Druck und aversiven Erziehungsmethoden arbeiten, sondern sie positiv verstärken und ihr genau die Zeit geben, die sie brauchen wird. Mit anderen Hunden ist sie verträglich, daher könnte ein souveräner Ersthund ihre Eingewöhnung erleichtern – ist aber kein Muss. Sie wünscht sich ein ländliches Zuhause mit einem gut eingezäunten Garten, damit sie schön in der Sonne liegen kann. Sally ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt ihren EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine verminderte Schutzgebühr in ihr neues Leben ziehen.
