Sally

Female · Kitten · 4 months

Hi everyone! My name is Sally, My personality: I am sweet girl who loves to play, I love chasing balls around I even carry them around in my mouth. I like to play with my brother Simon, I would love it if we could be rehomed together, we have been together since tiny kittens you see! I am more confident than my brother Simon as I am always out looking for attention from the humans here, I like to chat to them also. My ideal home: I would love a home where people are around often to play and spend time with me and my brother. I am happy living with my brother and i could potentially live other cats with slow introductions of course. I would also be happy living with children specially ones who would love to play with me. I am not sure if I would like any dog friends, but it could potentially be an option with slow introductions. Access to outdoors: I would love access to outdoors once I have settled in. Toileting: I am litter trained, I prefer wood chip litter. Did you know: British short hair cats are the most popular cat breed in the UK My adoption fee is £300 with my brother Simon.

About Sally

What life with Sally looks like

Sally is a very small puppy/kitten cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sally, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sally?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sally on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sally if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sally already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sally isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sally and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
