They have strongly oriented themselves towards the cats at the foster home and have taken to living with us humans well. Cuddles likes to take Salt in, but -typical cat- only when he feels like it. Then, there is plenty of purring. Salt now purrs very intensely and can be motivated to cuddle with a few treats. Although Salt has made great progress, he still reacts somewhat shy and scared to strangers. Therefore, we wish for him a home with patient and empathetic people with some cat experience, who can give him the time to build trust and simultaneously provide adequate mental stimulation. Salt is very active and playful – whether with balls, a catnip toy, or a toy mouse, playing is always a go for him. Salt often invites his fellow feline companions to play. When he is in play mode, he knows no end. He could still have more fun, it seems. His sister Pepper can no longer keep up with that anymore. An equally temperamental playmate who also wants to play and have fun would be great. Additionally, an environment (adequate space, free roam? Cat-Walks? Large exercise wheel?) that can withstand this power would be ideal. Salt shows great interest in the outside world. A secured large balcony for observing is therefore a must. Free roam in a truly safe neighborhood would also be an option. Salt is very social and gets along well with other animals. He is familiar with living with rabbits and has no problems. He is indeed a great guy. This cat needs outdoor access.

Sie haben sich stark an den Katzen der Pflegestelle orientiert und das Zusammenleben mit uns Menschen gut angenommen.Streicheleinheiten nimmt Salt gerne an, aber -typisch Katze- nur, wenn es ihm danach ist. Dann wird auch ausgiebig geschnurrt. Salt schnurrt mittlerweile sogar sehr intensiv und lässt sich mit ein paar Leckerchen gut zum Kuscheln motivieren. Auch wenn Salt große Fortschritte gemacht hat, reagiert er auf fremde Menschen noch etwas schüchtern und schreckhaft. Daher wünschen wir uns für ihn ein Zuhause bei geduldigen und einfühlsamen Menschen mit etwas Katzenerfahrung, die ihnen die Zeit geben, Vertrauen zu fassen und gleichzeitig ausreichend Beschäftigung bieten. Salt ist sehr aktiv und verspielt – egal ob Bälle, Katzenangel oder Spielmaus, Spielen geht bei ihm einfach immer. Salt fordert seine Mit-Samtpfoten auch sehr oft zum Spielen auf. Wenn er im Spiel-Modus ist, kennt er kein Ende. Er könnte immer noch mehr toben, so scheint es.Seine Schwester Pepper kann da mittlerweile nicht mehr mithalten. Ein ebenso temperamentvoller Katerkumpel, der auch gerne spielen und toben möchte, wäre toll. Dazu eine Umgebung (ausreichend Platz, Freigang? Cat-Walks? Großes Laufrad?), die dieser Power standhalten kann.Salt zeigt großes Interesse an der Außenwelt. Ein gesicherter großer Balkon zum Beobachten ist daher ein Muss.
