Sam has been at the refuge for 8 years. He lost his mother a few months ago and his beloved brother Samu also had to cross the rainbow bridge. Since the list of prohibited breeds prevents his import to Germany, he will probably have to stay at the refuge for the rest of his life. The girls in Spain take care of him as best they can in the limited time available; he gets his daily walk and also enjoys the leash walking. We hope he will recover from his grief and cope with it reasonably well. Sam is incredibly friendly, always in a good mood, and welcomes every visitor. He is compatible with other dogs, and seems to have no problems with cats. He has a food intolerance, so he receives special food and also Apoquel for mites in the spring. Therefore, we are happy to find more sponsors for Sam. Sam Sam sitzt seit 8 Jahren im Refugio. Er hat vor einigen Monaten seine Mutter verloren und sein geliebter Bruder Samu musste nun auch über die Regenbogenbrücke gehen. Da uns die Rasseliste eine Einfuhr nach Deutschland verbietet, wird er wohl bis zu seinem Lebensende im Refugio bleiben müssen. Die Mädels in Spanien kümmern sich so gut es in der knappen Zeit eben geht, er bekommt seinen täglichen Freilauf und auch das Gassi Gehen mag er sehr. Wir hoffen, dass er sich von der Trauer erholt und einigermaßen damit klarkommt. Sam ist unglaublich freundlich, stets gut gelaunt und freut sich über jeden Besucher. Er ist verträglich mit anderen Hunden, auch mit Katzen scheint er keine Probleme zu haben. Er hat eine Futtermittelunverträglichkeit, bekommt daher Spezialfutter und im Frühjahr auch immer Apoquel gegen Milben. Wir suchen daher gerne noch weitere Paten für Sam.
