Adopt SAMANTHA

Bengal · Female

Our Bengal lady SAMANTHA came to us because her owner passed away. She was born around 2020. SAMANTHA is a trusting, people-oriented cat who greatly enjoys being close to her humans. She is cuddly, playful, and sometimes even chatty. At the same time, she is rather shy and needs some time to adjust to new situations. She is looking for a fairly quiet home and would be suitable for families with children aged 15 and older who can understand and respect her reserved nature. It is currently unknown whether she gets along with fellow animals. Apartment living is well-suited for SAMANTHA. A balcony would be nice but isn't essential. If a balcony is present, it must be fully enclosed with netting so she can safely enjoy the fresh air. SAMANTHA hopes for a loving home that offers her security and allows her to build trust at her own pace. -0Fax:

-0Fax: 089/90 73 20E-Mail

About SAMANTHA

What life with SAMANTHA looks like

SAMANTHA is a adult bengal cat waiting at Tierschutzverein München.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting SAMANTHA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about SAMANTHA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein München handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw SAMANTHA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt SAMANTHA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein München will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is SAMANTHA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if SAMANTHA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein München early rather than rehoming privately; they know SAMANTHA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
