Sully

Bengal · Male

Hi there, my name is Sully and I’m searching for my forever home! My personality: I am a beautiful, VERY vocal, Bengal boy who is wonderful with humans. I love affection from my humans but wouldn’t call myself a lap cat, I am so typical of my breed and like to strut my stuff. I am a very clever, high-energy boy who needs a lot of enrichment/stimulation/entertainment and your attention to keep my mind busy. I LOVE my food and treats! My ideal home : I would love constant access to the outdoors as I spend most of my day exploring and hunting, but come home for cuddles and sleep on a comfy bed! I could live with older children who understand I may need extra space at times and could potentially live with an older, calm dog or a female cat. I would ideally like a family who has owned high-maintenance pedigree types before. I need you to know, that I’m no ordinary cat – you will need to have patience with my vocalisation and can provide me with the extra daily simulation. Access to outdoors : I need 24-hour access to the outdoors to come and go as I please. I am happiest when I have the freedom to explore and just be me. I will also walk on a lead, but this isn’t my ideal. Toileting: I’m used to toileting outdoors, so I am not the best with litter trays (I’m trying my best!). My new owners must understand I may have accidents whilst I am settling in. Did you know : Bengal cats like me are known for their playful and active nature. We have a high energy level and love to climb and explore a large territory. My adoption fee is £175 See Sully in action

About Sully

What life with Sully looks like

Sully is a large adult bengal cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sully, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sully?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sully on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sully if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sully already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sully isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sully and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
