We know little about her past, as is often the case in animal shelters. But her gaze whispers quiet stories of insecurity, lack of safety, and a life that likely didn’t offer many pleasant experiences. Samela is currently very afraid. She still can’t allow proximity to people, and treats are not yet a source of security for her. Her backpack seems heavy, filled with experiences that have shaped her. Fear is clearly written on her face – and she shows it openly. But now Samela is safe. Even if she doesn’t understand it yet, she has the chance for a new beginning. For Samela, we are looking for dog-experienced, patient people with a calm home who know that trust cannot be demanded but must grow. Step by step. At her own pace. Without pressure, but with a lot of heart. Maybe you are exactly the person who shows Samela that a dog’s life can also be beautiful – and that trust sometimes begins very quietly. Mischling Samela – aus vorsichtiger Angst wird leises Vertrauen Samela wartet in Spanien auf ihre Menschen – Menschen, die hinter ihre Vergangenheit blicken und sehen, welch liebe Seele eigentlich in ihr steckt. Über ihre Geschichte wissen wir, wie so oft im Tierschutz, nichts. Doch inzwischen zeigt Samela immer mehr, dass sie bereit ist, ihre Angst Schritt für Schritt hinter sich zu lassen. Die sensible Hündin hat in den letzten Wochen tolle Fortschritte gemacht. Sie konnte bereits einige ihrer Ängste überwinden und zeigt sich mittlerweile als liebe, sanfte Hündin, die immer mehr Vertrauen fasst. Spaziergänge findet Samela inzwischen richtig toll und sie macht das bereits ganz prima. Man merkt, dass sie beginnt, das Leben zu genießen und langsam versteht, dass Menschen auch Sicherheit und Geborgenheit bedeuten können. Natürlich trägt Samela weiterhin ihren kleinen Rucksack aus vergangenen Erfahrungen mit sich und wird Zeit brauchen, um vollständig anzukommen. Doch genau darin liegt ihre besondere Schönheit: in jedem kleinen Schritt, in jedem vorsichtigen Blick und in jedem Moment, in dem sie ein Stück mehr Vertrauen schenkt.
