Lijo liebt es in der Nähe unserer Pfleger zu sein, nimmt sehr gern Futter aus der Hand. Doch er mag es nicht so gern angefasst zu werden. Wir hoffen, dass Lijo bald das Glück hat und von seinen Menschen gefunden wird, um sich auf die lange Reise in sein neues Zuhause zu machen. Unser Besuch im August 2022: Als Lijo in seinem Zwinger war, erlebten wir ihn als einen sehr unsicheren Hund. Er ließ sich nicht anfassen und blieb immer auf Abstand. Wenn er frei laufen durfte, war er hingegen deutlich offener, kam zu uns, nahm Leckerlies und ließ sich streicheln. Wichtige Information: Wenn Lijo von seinen Menschen gefunden wird und sich auf die Reise in ein neues Leben machen darf, wird er sich sicherlich erstmal von der anstrengenden Fahrt erholen müssen. Seine Menschen sollten besonders am Anfang geduldig und verständnisvoll mit ihm sein, denn das Leben in einem Haus oder einer Wohnung kennt der junge Rüde noch nicht, weshalb es für ihn noch einiges zu lernen gibt. Außerdem sollten seine Liebsten bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit ängstlichen und unsicheren Hunden haben. Lijo wird sicherlich einige Zeit brauchen, bis er sich an sein neues Umfeld gewöhnt hat. Mit Zeit, Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen kann man ihm aber zeigen, dass es sich lohnt, dem Menschen zu vertrauen. Und dass sich Streicheleinheiten doch ganz toll anfühlen.
