The imposing tomcat was surrendered to us because he can still sing tenor-level tunes without a microphone, but we observe that his singing is mood-dependent, for example, when he feels lonely. Sammy has a hyperthyroid condition that is currently managed with medication, which he takes easily in a lickable snack or with a bit of food. His bad teeth are also being completely treated at the moment, so he can eat pain-free again. Otherwise, Sammy loves to be treated as a couch potato, with his belly being rubbed. But even a short walk to the balcony for some fresh air is highly favored…. In any case, to occasionally trill a tune! Der stattliche Kater wurde bei uns abgegeben, weil er durchaus tenorgleich gesanglich überzeugen kann, und das völlig ohne Mikrofon. Wir beobachten jedoch, daß sein Gesang auf jeden Fall stimmungsabhängig ist, zB wenn er sich einsam fühlt. Sammy hat eine Schilddrüsenüberfunktion, die derzeit medikamentös eingestellt wird, die Medikamente nimmt er problemlos in einem Schlecksnack oder mit etwas Futter. Seine schlimmen Zähne werden außerdem im Moment komplett saniert, so dass er auch wieder schmerzfrei fressen kann. Ansonsten liebt es Sammy, sich als Couch-Potatoe sich den Bauch kraulen zu lassen. Aber auch ein kurzer Spaziergang auf den Balkon zum frische Luft schnuppern steht hoch im Kurs…. Auf jeden Fall, um gelegentlich ein Liedchen zu trällern! Wunschzuhause: Wir suchen für diesen lieben verschmusten Frührentner ein ruhiges Zuhause, das einen anhänglichen verschmusten Kater absolut zu schätzen weiß und wo seine gelegentlichen Gesangseinlagen nicht stören.
