Since February 2024, I've been a roommate at Shelter Help Azorel. Before that, I lived on the streets and tried my best to survive. For a young girl dog, it was a big challenge, but somehow I managed to make it. Now, I'm in safety and can hope for a better future. With my attentive gaze and unique fur pattern, I am indeed a real beauty, or so I think. I am always friendly and rather reserved. To my primary caregiver at the shelter, I have built trust – she is the one I like to be stroked by and enjoy her closeness. With a little patience, calmness, and love, it will surely be the same in my new family. As soon as I sense that I am welcome and safe, I open my heart and let my soft, cuddly side come out. When strangers come to my pen, for example, when German helpers take photos or assess me – I am initially very shy and hide. The unfamiliar situation and new people unsettle me. But I am convinced: in a quiet home where I am allowed to be, I will gradually gain more trust. I am a quiet lady dog who enjoys the gentle, beautiful moments – leisurely walks, friendly company, and a warm spot to rest. What I still lack is a family of my own that loves me, gives me security, and with whom I can share all of this. Seit Februar 2024 bin ich Mitbewohnerin im Shelter Help Azorel. Davor lebte ich auf der Straße und versuchte so gut es ging zu überleben. Für ein junges Hundemädchen eine große Herausforderung, aber irgendwie konnte ich mich durchschlagen. Doch jetzt bin ich in Sicherheit und kann auf eine bessere Zukunft hoffen. Mit meinem aufmerksamen Blick und meiner einzigartigen Fellzeichnung bin ich doch eine echte Schönheit, oder? Ich bin stets freundlich und eher zurückhaltend. Zu meiner Bezugsperson im Shelter habe ich Vertrauen gefasst – von ihr lasse ich mich gerne streicheln und genieße die Nähe. Mit etwas Geduld, Ruhe und Liebe wird es bestimmt auch in meiner neuen Familie so sein. Sobald ich merke, dass ich willkommen bin und sicher bin, öffne ich mein Herz und lasse meine sanfte, verschmuste Seite zum Vorschein kommen. Bei fremden Besuchern, die in meinen Zwinger kommen – zum Beispiel wenn Helferinnen aus Deutschland Fotos machen oder mich einschätzen möchten – bin ich zunächst sehr schüchtern und verstecke mich. Die ungewohnte Situation und neue Menschen verunsichern mich. Aber ich bin überzeugt: In einem ruhigen Zuhause, in dem ich ankommen darf, werde ich Schritt für Schritt mehr Vertrauen fassen.
