Savannah

Mixed Breed · Female

Can live with: Adult only home Savannah came to Bluebell Ridge after her owner was sadly no longer able to care for her. Having only ever known one home, Savannah has found the change quite unsettling and is still adjusting to her new surroundings. Although she can be a little nervous at first, Savannah is already starting to show her lovely personality. She does enjoy a gentle fuss and, little by little, is beginning to come out of her shell as she learns that people can be kind and patient. We believe Savannah will flourish in a calm and understanding home where she can settle at her own pace and continue building her confidence. Watching her slowly learn to trust and relax has already been so rewarding, and we know there’s an affectionate, loving girl waiting to shine through. Savannah would suit a quiet home with adopters who are happy to give her the reassurance, patience, and love she needs while she settles in. Could you offer this sweet girl the fresh start she deserves? 🤎 Scroll through the gallery of images above or click to open

About Savannah

What life with Savannah looks like

Savannah is a adult mixed breed animal waiting at RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex in United Kingdom.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Savannah far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Savannah, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Savannah?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Savannah on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Savannah if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Savannah already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Savannah isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex early rather than rehoming privately; they know Savannah and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
