Scotch is looking for a calm and predictable home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and care he deserves. He is a sweet boy who finds the world rather overwhelming at times, so could live with older secondary school children who will give him time to build a relationship and give him space to rest and relax when needed. Scotch gains confidence from his 4 legged friends, so would benefit from living with another dog who will happily engage in play and will help him to grow in confidence, this will be pending successful meets at the centres, he could also have polite and friendly walking buddies. Scotch doesn’t know many tricks yet but does love a tasty treat so could be encouraged to engage in training once he is settled into his new home. He would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to have some quality time pottering about in at his leisure with no worries or distractions. Scotch can be worried being left, so would like someone home the majority of the time, especially to begin with, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Scotch will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home, so please bear all of this in mind when applying. Sweet little lad Scotch is a 1 year old Schnauzer cross Poodle with the grace of a Gazelle and a little tuft of fluff at the end of his tail that he loves to wave around. This posh guy canters around like he was made for the spotlight, except for when he is with his 4 legged besties, then he is all playbows and bouncing around. He can be a little independent to begin with, he likes to be close by and check in on occasion for reassurance, but once he has built a bond he enjoys a gentle fuss. This super cute little guy is ready to find his new home.
