We are looking for a forever foster for beautiful Scratchy. He has had such a shitty start and has been put in some situations that have resulted in him getting into trouble. He will be insured under the rescue all food and vets paid for. He spent 9 months in police kennels because an owner of a small breed let the dog run up to Scratchy while he was on lead and unfortunately Scratchy defended himself and the small dog died. His owner (who sadly had psychological and physical disabilities) was arrested and had to watch Scratchy be taken away and has never seen him since and he isn’t allowed to either. Loves walkies ❤️ Loves cuddles Loves being groomed Loves balls Loves toys Loves dinner time House trained ❤️ Scratchy loves Greyhounds and shows no interest in other breeds but due to his past, he can’t be homed with a small breed. He is a happy happy amazing boy who so deserves a chance. He is house-trained and sleeps sooooo much ❤️He is a very big boy but doesn’t use any of his strength. We give lots of advice and guidance, and everyone has full homechecks, then once you adopt a dog, follow-up checks are carried out.
