Senior Greyhound Max

Max is a handsome senior greyhound / lurcher type believed to be around 10 years old. Sadly, life has not always been kind to him. Despite his difficult recent past, he remains one of the sweetest dogs you could meet. This lovely lad loves company and takes everything in his stride. Whatever he has experienced before arriving with us, it has not changed his loving nature. Max has multiple fatty lumps across his body some really very large and other small. Given his age and the number of lumps present, surgery would not be in his best interests. Thankfully, they do not bother him and he remains comfortable and happy. His dental health is another matter. Max has some very rotten teeth and will soon undergo an urgent dental procedure. We hope this treatment will leave him feeling much more comfortable. Since arriving, Max has mixed brilliantly with other dogs. In fact, he has taken our young Ralf under his paw. He has shown himself to be calm, patient, and wonderfully easy-going around his canine friends. While Max could potentially live as an only dog, we feel he would be happiest sharing his home with another relaxed and friendly dog. He enjoys canine companionship and settles well alongside others. We do not know his history with children. However, we cannot see him having any issues with sensible children aged seven and over who understand how to respect a dog's space. Max may be a senior boy, but he still has plenty of life ahead of him. He has so much love to give and deserves a comfortable home where he can enjoy his golden years.
