Iffy

Mixed Breed · Male

Iffy is a stunning boy with a calm nature, and he doesn’t appear to mind being handled. He’s eating well and has settled into a good routine with us. When he first arrived, he was struggling with very poor sheds, and his next one wasn’t much better. However, he has just completed a shed that was absolutely perfect, which is a brilliant sign of progress. A snake’s habitat plays a huge role in their health and wellbeing. Getting the balance of heat, humidity and ventilation right makes all the difference, and Merlin will thrive in a home that can maintain those conditions consistently. He’s a lovely lad who will do well with someone who understands the needs of his species and can continue supporting the improvements he’s already making. Ball pythons are not a good first time reptile pet so we are looking for a home with the right experience and set up.

About Iffy

What life with Iffy looks like

Iffy is an extra-large adult mixed breed animal waiting at Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) in United Kingdom.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Iffy far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

Paperwork, vet checks and transport rules differ by species and by country. Ask the shelter what is included and what you will need to arrange before you commit.

Frequently asked

Adopting Iffy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Iffy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Iffy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Iffy if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Iffy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) directly what is included and what Iffy still needs.
What happens if Iffy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Berwick Animal Rescue Kennels (BARK) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Iffy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
