Kangal Puppy Born: 22.05.2022 Strangers: Friendly Children: OK Dogs: OK Female dog: OK Cats: No Sero had to come to our animal shelter due to a lack of time from his previous owners. The young man is a bit shy when meeting unfamiliar people but has been consistently friendly so far. It is reported from his previous home that he is gentle and friendly with children. He also gets along well with other dogs of both sexes. On the leash, Sero generally behaves well, but his dog handler must be able to hold the strong male dogs. Cats and small pets should not live in his future home. Sero wishes for a family with a house in a rural area and a well-fenced property where he can fulfill his role as a herding dog and protector. He is not suitable for a small city apartment. Since Sero is only one year old, he will continue to develop and likely become a bit more cautious. Herding dog experience would therefore be advantageous for his future owners. This is a young, adolescent dog.

Fremden Personen begegnet der junge Mann etwas schüchtern, aber bisher durchweg freundlich. Aus seinem vorherigen Zuhause berichtet man auch, dass er sanft und freundlich im Umgang mit Kindern sei. Auch mit anderen Hunden beiderlei Geschlechts kommt der stattliche Jungrüde bisher gut aus. An der Leine geht Sero überwiegend ordentlich, jedoch muss sein Hundeführer im Stande sein den kräftigen Rüden zu halten. Katzen und Kleintiere sollten nicht in seinem zukünftigen Zuhause leben. Sero wünscht sich eine Familie mit Haus in ländlicher Umgebung und gut eingezäuntem Grundstück, wo er als Herdenschutzhund seiner Aufgabe als Bewacher ausleben kann. Für eine kleine Stadtwohnung ist er eher nicht geeignet. Da Sero mit einem Jahr noch ein Junghund ist, wird er sich noch weiter entwickeln und vermutlich noch etwas wachsamer werden. Herdenschutzhunderfahrung wäre daher für seine zukünftigen Halter von Vorteil.
