To prawdziwa przylepa (najchętniej całe dnie spędzałaby wtulona w człowieka, rozdając buziaki i prosząc o głaski.) Jest bardzo przyjazna, pogodna i pełna energii. Ładnie chodzi na smyczy, chętnie spaceruje i z radością poznaje świat. W stosunku do ludzi zarówno dorosłych, jak i dzieci jest prawdziwą oazą łagodności. Niestety Shakira bardzo źle znosi pobyt za kratami. Brakuje jej bliskości człowieka, własnego kąta i poczucia bezpieczeństwa. Każdy dzień w schronisku jest dla niej trudny. Szukamy dla niej domu, w którym będzie mogła być pełnoprawnym członkiem rodziny. Ze względu na swój charakter najlepiej odnalazłaby się jako jedyny pies w domu, bywa dominująca wobec innych psów i to człowieka chce mieć przede wszystkim dla siebie.
