Shiba is a cat who went to the shelter as a mother – exhausted, quiet, brave. She brought a whole litter of babies with her... of which only one survived. Though fate was not kind to her, Shiba did not give up. Hidden in her corner, she took care of the baby and took with quiet dignity everything he brought each day. She's calm and delicate. It's not obvious, it's not demanding attention. She watches carefully as if she wanted to first understand whether the man who approaches her deserves her trust. But once he gets it... There's magic happening. Shiba hugs himself in arms with great tenderness, caresses with his eyes closed and forgets the whole world. Shiba to kotka, która do schroniska trafiła jako matka – wyczerpana, cicha, dzielna. Przyniosła ze sobą cały miot maluszków… z których tylko jedno przetrwało. Choć los nie był dla niej łaskawy, Shiba nie poddała się. Schowana w swoim kąciku, troskliwie opiekowała się maleństwem i z cichą godnością przyjmowała wszystko, co przynosił każdy kolejny dzień. Jest spokojna i delikatna. Nie rzuca się w oczy, nie domaga się uwagi. Obserwuje uważnie, jakby chciała najpierw zrozumieć, czy człowiek, który się do niej zbliża, zasługuje na jej zaufanie. Ale gdy już je zdobędzie… dzieje się magia. Shiba z ogromną czułością wtula się w ramiona, przyjmuje głaskanie z zamkniętymi oczami i zapomina o całym świecie. Ta kocia mama zasługuje na dom, w którym wreszcie ktoś zaopiekuje się nią – cierpliwie, z miłością, spokojem.
