We have Shih Tzu mixes of various ages, from 6 months up to 2 years, looking for loving and secure homes. The boys are sold separately, and we’re carefully matching each one with the home that best suits them. They’ve led a fairly sheltered life and haven’t yet had much opportunity to experience the world. As a result, new environments, people, and experiences may feel somewhat overwhelming and unfamiliar at first. They need families who have patience, understanding, and time to help them build their self-confidence at their own pace. Behind their cautious exterior lie wonderful dogs with great potential to grow into confident and loyal companions. Since they’re facing significant changes when moving to their new homes, some challenges may arise during the initial period. Some of them have shown tendencies toward resource guarding—a behavior their new families will need to continue working on using positive, reward-based methods. It’s also possible that some may experience separation difficulties as they leave the only life they’ve ever known. Therefore, we’re looking for homes that understand that security, routines, and patience will be crucial building blocks in their ongoing development.

De behöver familjer som har tålamod, förståelse och tid att hjälpa dem att bygga upp sitt självförtroende i sin egen takt. Bakom den försiktiga sidan finns fina hundar med stor potential att utvecklas till trygga och trogna följeslagare. Eftersom de står inför stora förändringar när de flyttar till sina nya hem kan vissa utmaningar dyka upp under den första tiden.
