Op haar leeftijd verdient ze niets liever dan een plek waar ze helemaal zichzelf mag zijn en kan genieten van alle aandacht die ze zo verdient. &; Bij nieuwe mensen heeft Shiva soms even de tijd nodig om kennis te maken. Geef je haar die rust, dan zie je al snel haar zachte kant. Binnen de kortste keren komt ze je kwispelend begroeten en geniet ze volop van jouw gezelschap en aandacht. Shiva vindt andere honden spannend en voelt zich daarom het prettigst als enig huisdier. Een rustig huishouden zonder andere honden of huisdieren is voor haar de ideale plek. Ze zoekt een baasje dat haar de tijd geeft om te ontspannen en haar de veiligheid biedt waar ze zich fijn bij voelt. Ondanks haar leeftijd is Shiva nog verrassend actief.
