Sidney came to RSPCA Bluebell Ridge after his owner sadly had to make the difficult decision to surrender him when they could no longer care for him. When Sidney first arrived, he spent much of his time tucked safely away in his box, earning himself the affectionate nickname βTortoise Catβ because he loves retreating into his little βshell.β While he still enjoys the comfort of his hiding place, weβve discovered what a sweetheart he really is. Offer Sidney a gentle fuss and youβll soon be rewarded with little head bumps, happy flops and the cutest rolls as he soaks up every bit of affection. He may not always be the first cat to greet you, but once he trusts you, his loving nature shines through. Sidney is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the only pet and settle in at his own pace. Because he can take a little time to come out of his shell, weβre offering him through our Foster to Adopt scheme.
