Die beiden Schwestern wurden im Zuge einer Kastrationsaktion eingefangen. Bei ihrer Ankunft waren sie sehr unterernährt, hatten massiven Katzenschnupfen und Butterblume war ganz gelb (kommt von der Unterernährung, das sich dann in Gelbsucht zeigt). Beide wurden sehr lange medizinisch behandelt und jetzt geht es ihnen endlich wieder gut. Aufgrund ihrer langen „Schnupfenzeit“ kann es vorkommen, dass sie, bei Stress, wieder anfangen zu schnupfen, was sich aber schnell wieder legt. Beide sind natürlich komplett geimpft. Sie sind sehr sozial, anderen Artgenossen gegenüber, sie bewohnen derzeit ein Zimmer mit einem jungen Kater, mit dem auch gespielt und getobt wird. Butterblume durfte mit ihrem Kumpel, Palomino, in ein neues Zuhause umziehen. Für Siebenschläfer wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges Heim, gerne mit vorhandenem Katzenkumpel/ Freundin, an der sie sich orientieren kann. Ihr neues Zuhause soll ihnen gesicherten Freigang bieten, entweder sehr ländlich, ohne gefährliche Straßen, oder gesicherte Terrasse/Balkon. Kleine Kinder, im Haushalt, sind nicht geeignet für die beiden.
