A young dog named Silas was found by a motorist in the middle of the night at the edge of an autobahn. He had a puppy collar on, which cut his neck extremely because he had grown since then. Our research could not identify any owner, so Silas was taken over by an animal welfare organization. Silas needed three surgeries until he finally was pain-free! He endured everything bravely and patiently. A few weeks ago, Doro discovered that Silas was now housed in the terrible animal shelter of Patras. With the help of a sponsor, we were able to bring Silas to a boarding house that also provides affection and exercise for dogs. 💝 Unfortunately, Silas is still there and the sponsor has dropped out... But we have not given up hope on finding a nice home for the sweet boy. Silas is an initially rather reserved but playful young dog. We would be very happy if he could finally be placed in a home. Silas means "The One Who Was Sought". We hope that this name will finally find fulfillment.

wurde von einem Autofahrer mitten in der Nacht am Rande einer Autobahn gefunden. Er hatte ein Welpenhalsband an, was ihm, weil er mittlerweile gewachsen war, den Hals extrem durchschnitt. Unsere Recherche konnte keinen Besitzer ausmachen, so dass Silas von einer Tierschutzorga übernommen wurde. Silas brauchte drei Operationen, bis er endlich schmerzfrei war! Er hat alles tapfer und geduldig über sich ergehen lassen. Vor wenigen Wochen entdeckte Doro, dass Silas mittlerweile in dem schrecklichen Tierheim von Patras untergebracht war. Mit Hilfe einer Patin konnten wir Silas in eine Pension bringen, die den Hunden auch Zuwendung und Freilauf ermöglicht. 💝 Leider ist Silas immer noch dort und die Patin ist mitterweile abgesprungen... Aber wir haben die Hoffnung auf ein schönes Zuhause für den süßen Jungen noch nicht aufgegeben. Silas ist ein am Anfang eher zurückhaltender, aber verspielter junger Hund. Es würde uns sehr freuen wenn er nun endlich in ein Zuhause platziert werden könnte. Silas bedeutet im Übringen: Der Erbetene. Wir hoffen, dass dieser Name endlich mal Erfüllung findet.
