Simba is a large, friendly dog who needs someone to love him. He's initially shy and quiet but gets along well with people he trusts. With females, he's more tolerant than with males. Outdoors, Simba can be clumsy but he loves his human companionship which gives him confidence. He's still afraid of trucks and loud noises. When meeting new people, he's friendly and wants to interact with them. Simba would benefit from attending a dog school as he is eager to learn. With food and human interaction, he can be motivated. Once trust is established, he becomes an affectionate companion who loves being close to his owner. We recommend that anyone considering bringing a dog into their home seek professional guidance beforehand. In our shelter environment, we can only describe him based on what we've observed. Juli 2026 Geburtsdatum: geschätzt Juni 2023 Geschlecht: männlich Rasse: Mix Größe (Schulterhöhe): ca. 65cm Gewicht: 40,4kg Simba ist ein recht großer, aber sehr freundlicher Hund, der seinen Menschen sucht. Anfangs ist er noch etwas zurückhaltend und ruhig. Bei anderen Hunden kommt es auf die Sympathie an; mit Hündinnen zeigt er sich besser verträglich als mit Rüden. Draußen zeigt sich Simba etwas unbeholfen. Er orientiert sich aber sehr an seinem Menschen, was ihm Sicherheit gibt. Vor LKW und lauten Geräusche hat er noch Angst. Auf Menschen, die ihm begegnen, reagiert er freundlich und möchte zu ihnen. Simba möchte noch lernen, daher wäre ein Besuch in einer Hundeschule erwünscht. Simba lässt sich durch Futter und Menschenkontakt gut motivieren. Wenn er erst einmal Vertrauen aufgebaut hat, ist er ein anhänglicher Hund, der gerne bei seinem Menschen ist. Wir raten jedem Menschen und jeder Familie, die einen Hund bei sich einziehen lassen möchten, sich vorab um eine professionelle Hundeschule zu bemühen.
