Two male kittens, Simba and Kovu, are available for adoption. They are approximately 6 weeks old and have been living together with their mother and siblings at our shelter. They are now about 10 months old. Simba is a curious, brave, playful, and affectionate cat, while Kovu is more reserved and cautious but also enjoys being petted and purrs when stroked. Both cats are comfortable living with other cats and have experience with dogs. They are suitable for families with children who respect the animals' boundaries. The kittens will be spayed or neutered by their new owners at around 6 months old, and proof of this must be provided to us. The shelter is located in Kerpen.

Aus den „Kleinen Wilden“ sind aufgeweckte Jungspunde geworden, die aber noch klar zwischen Bezugspersonen und „Fremden“ unterscheiden.Simba macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Er ist ein neugieriger, mutiger, aufgeweckter, verspielter Katzenjunge, der auch seine Spielzeit schon Mal mit einer Schmusezeit unterbricht.Kovu ist immer noch eher zurückhaltend und vorsichtig unterwegs. Alles, was neu ist, macht ihm erst einmal Angst. Kovu braucht ein sehr verständnisvolles und ruhiges Umfeld, dass ihm Sicherheit gibt und sein Selbstvertrauen stärkt. Er fordert Streicheleinheiten nicht von sich aus ein. Aber wenn Simba los legt, schließt er sich auch meist mit an und kommt näher. Simba ist „sein Eisbrecher“.Beide kennen das Zusammenleben mit anderen Katzen und haben auch bereits Hundeerfahrung.Diese Beiden benötigen erfahrene Katzenhalter, sie brauchen ein ruhiges, verständnisvolles Umfeld, mit Menschen, denen klar ist, dass der gemeinsame Weg zu Kuschelkatzen mit Zeit, Arbeit und viel Verständnis und Geduld gepflastert ist. Es dauert, aber es gibt nichts Schöneres, als das erste Schnurren, nachdem der „Knoten geplatzt ist“. Und das wünschen wir uns für Kovu sehr.Die Kastration erfolgt im Alter von ca. 6 Monaten durch die neuen Besitzer und muss uns nachgewiesen werden.Die Pflegestelle befindet sich in Kerpen.
