Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel)

Male · Young · 2 years

Together with the two female rabbits, Puschel and Pfötchen, Simba is looking for a loving, permanent home. The three of them form a well-matched trio and will therefore be rehomed only together. For their new home, we would like to see species-appropriate housing with plenty of space for hopping, exploring, and feeling comfortable—ideally in outdoor conditions. Simba is a curious, lively, and friendly rabbit. He is currently already living in outdoor conditions and is fed fresh green fodder. Note on rabbit adoption: Please read our adoption guidelines for small animals carefully before submitting an inquiry. All our rabbits have been examined by a veterinarian and are vaccinated. As a rule, a fecal examination has also been carried out. In addition, all bucks undergo a DVT (Digital Volume Tomography) scan to assess the health of their ears.

About Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel)

What life with Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) looks like

Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) is a young adult rabbit waiting at BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof in Germany.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

Frequently asked

Adopting Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof directly what is included and what Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) still needs.
What happens if Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with BMT Tierheim Elisabethenhof early rather than rehoming privately; they know Simba (zusammen mit Pfötchen & Puschel) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
