Sina

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Sina - cheerful and open young female dog Sina is a friendly and open young female dog; affectionate to all people and also well-suited with other dogs. She was given up in our animal shelter in Hungary together with her brother and is now looking for her forever family. Sina is age-typically open, curious and playful - a completely normal, funny young dog. We practice walking her on a leash with her, but of course, her dog ABC needs to be worked on further and a visit to a good dog school is certainly useful and will definitely be fun for her. We wish for Sina people who have the time and desire to accompany this great young dog in her development and grow with her into a really good team. Sina can travel in October. Preferred direct adoption upon arrival in Switzerland or even pickup in Hungary is possible. We would be happy to provide more information! Since Sina is too young for sterilization at the time of surrender, she will be placed with a sterilization requirement.

About Sina

What life with Sina looks like

Sina is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs in Yourheart4dogs.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Your Heart 4 Rescued Dogs early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
