sinatra and elton

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 5 years

Sinatra (dad) and Elton (son) are a very special father-and-son duo who have come a long way together. After a difficult start following abandonment, they initially needed time to feel safe and comfortable and to reach a healthy weight. Today, they are happy, loving, curious and playful boys who are ready to find their forever home together. They're both very vocal - especially when they think it's time for food! They love being in the same room as their humans and will happily follow you around the house. Their favourite activities include playing with each other, cardboard toilet rolls and wires, exploring cat tunnels and more recently, watching David Attenborough documentaries with us. Elton is the more outgoing of the two. He's somewhere between kitten and teenager, so he can be wonderfully affectionate one minute and decide he wants some alone time the next! He loves being stroked and having belly rubs, enjoys gentle play-fighting with his dad and will happily entertain himself with a toy for short bursts. He particularly likes sitting beside you and will occasionally curl up on your lap. Sinatra is a playful, food-loving boy who takes a little longer to trust new people and surroundings. Loud noises, the doorbell and strangers can still startle him, so he'll need a patient family who understands that he may take a few weeks to settle into a new home. Once comfortable, his playful personality really shines. He loves running, chasing rolling toys and play-fighting with Elton. He especially enjoys cheek and chin scratches and belly rubs, although he prefers his feet on the ground rather than being picked up too often. These two have been through a lot together and are looking for a loving, patient home- ideally with no kids, calm adults and low-traffic- where they can stay together, settle in at their own pace and continue growing in confidence. In return, they'll bring plenty of affection, entertainment, companionship!

About sinatra and elton

What life with sinatra and elton looks like

sinatra and elton is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at London Inner City Kitties in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting sinatra and elton, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about sinatra and elton?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. London Inner City Kitties handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw sinatra and elton on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt sinatra and elton if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — London Inner City Kitties will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is sinatra and elton already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if sinatra and elton isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with London Inner City Kitties early rather than rehoming privately; they know sinatra and elton and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
