adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Dachshund-lovers take note! The cute Sinda is now a 5-month-old Dachshund-Mix female dog, who immediately captures hearts with her loving gaze and charming personality. She is still young and eager to explore the world – of course, she would love to do so by the side of her own family. Sinda was jointly surrendered with her mother Dottie. Fortunately, she was quickly found by an attentive animal rescuer, so both were brought to safety. In a foster home, Sinda was able to rest and show what a wonderful little dog girl she is inside. Sinda displays a friendly, loving, and open demeanor towards people. She enjoys attention and is delighted by every affection. She also gets along well with other dogs. We wish Sinda a loving family that will give her time to settle into her new life and explore the world together. Of course, walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions should not be missing. A visit to a positively working dog training class would also be a nice opportunity for Sinda to continue learning and strengthen the bond with her people. With patience, love, and a little humor, she will surely develop into a wonderful companion. Sinda is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and of course brings her EU pet passport. If you want to give the little Sinda a warm dog bed and a loving home, you can request her after a positive Sinda might just be waiting for you. Many thanks Annika! You have given Sinda her identity! Vielen Dank Annika! Du hast Sinda ihre Identität geschenkt! Stand: 13.05.2026

About Sinda

What life with Sinda looks like

Sinda is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sinda, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sinda?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sinda on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sinda if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sinda already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sinda isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sinda and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
