Sirius is a neutered mixed-breed male dog born on March 28, 2024. As a puppy, he was found together with his siblings Illias, Tristan, Harmony, and Ivy in a landfill. The five puppies were only a few days old when they were spotted by attentive passersby and reported to the staff at the Serbian animal shelter Svilos. The shelter staff immediately rescued the little pups, and they were bottle-fed at the home of shelter worker Natasa. Now Sirius is ready to travel abroad and dreams of a caring family that will give him a wonderful life as a dog! Sirius is full of energy; he darts happily across the grassy outdoor run and loves to play with his toys. He is open and friendly toward visitors to the shelter and enjoys being petted. He’s also delighted by treats offered to him. He’d be the ideal companion for nature-loving people who enjoy long walks and outings. Due to his gentle nature, he can be recommended as a family dog for older, steady children. So far, he has gotten along very well with other dogs of his own species. He hasn’t yet had the chance to meet cats or other animals in his life, and it’s unknown how he’d react to them. Now Sirius is looking for a loving, responsible family who will give him plenty of affection and time, enjoy training with him, keep him adequately occupied, raise him consistently, and share many exciting adventures with him! The male dog’s shoulder height currently measures 56 cm, and he weighs about 24 kg.

Sirius ist ein am 28.03.2024 geborener, kastrierter Mischlingsrüde, der als Welpe gemeinsam mit seinen Geschwistern Illias, Tristan, Harmony und Ivy auf einer Müllhalde gefunden wurde. Die fünf Welpen waren nur wenige Tage alt, als sie durch aufmerksame Passanten entdeckt und an die Mitarbeiterinnen des serbischen Tierheims Svilos gemeldet wurden. Diese retteten die kleinen Welpen sofort und sie wurden bei der Tierheimmitarbeiterin Natasa zuhause mit dem Fläschchen großgezogen. Nun ist Sirius ausreisebereit und träumt von einer fürsorglichen Familie, die ihm ein großartiges Hundeleben ermöglicht! Sirius zeigt sich bewegungsfreudig, flitzt voller Vergnügen über die Wiese des Auslaufbereiches und beschäftigt sich gerne mit seinem Spielzeug. Besuchern des Tierheims gegenüber verhält er sich aufgeschlossen und wird gerne gestreichelt, über angebotene Leckerlis freut er sich ebenso.Er wäre der ideale Partner für naturliebende Menschen, die gerne ausgedehnte Spaziergänge und Ausflüge unternehmen. Aufgrund seiner Gutmütigkeit kann er als Familienhund zu größeren, standfesten Kindern empfohlen werden. Mit seinen Artgenossen ist er bisher sehr gut verträglich. Katzen und andere Tiere konnte er in seinem bisherigen Leben noch nicht kennen lernen und es ist nicht bekannt, wie er auf diese reagiert. Nun ist Sirius auf der Suche nach einer liebevollen, verantwortungsbewussten Familie, die ihm viel Zuwendung sowie Zeit schenkt, gerne mit ihm trainiert, ihn ausreichend beschäftigt, konsequent erzieht und jede Menge Abenteuer mit ihm erleben möchte! Die Schulterhöhe des Rüden beträgt derzeit 56 cm und er wiegt ca. 24 kg.
