Skye – Yorkshire Adoption fee is £350 3 years old Blue & Tan smooth coat miniature (5kg) Spayed Skye is a lively, intelligent, playful little dog looking for a new home due to her owners not being able to give her the time and attention she needs. Skye is an active girl who thrives on activity and loves to be with her people. She loves chasing a ball and playing with toys however can sometimes be protective over her toys and own space so her family feel she would be happier as an only dog. She enjoys running freely but currently only off lead in a secure dog field. On lead she can be barky towards people and dogs she doesn’t know so the owners tend to avoid strangers. She loves to snuggle under a blanket with her humans. Skye is house trained and crate trained, making her well-suited to a structured home environment. She currently sleeps in her crate in the kitchen and can be left for a few hours, once settled into her new home. She can be wary of strangers at first, as she likes to take her time assessing new people, but once she feels comfortable, she forms very strong bonds and is incredibly loyal, affectionate and loving. Her family prefer Skye to have already met new visitors before they come into the home as she is quite protective over her humans. Skye hasn’t had much exposure to children or cats, so we are looking for an adult only home and a pet free environment. She is in good health. Skye is a fun, affectionate, and energetic dog who will thrive in a quiet home where she can enjoy regular exercise, playtime, and with someone who has experience with classic dachshund behaviour.
