Since March 2023, she has lived in Germany with a family of two small children and a cat. She is playful, athletic, and enjoys going for walks. She is also enthusiastic about dog training classes, where she successfully learned to bring her prey drive under control – this now works very well. Skylar is spayed, fully vaccinated, and well socialized. She gets along well with both children and cats. In February 2025, she was diagnosed with Addison’s disease. This condition is treatable: Skylar needs a hormone injection once a month (cost: approx. 67 €) as well as tablets (approx. 30 € annually). According to the vet, she can lead a normal, long dog life with this treatment. Unfortunately, the family had to part ways with her because their living circumstances have changed due to a separation, and their owner with two small children no longer has the time to be fair to Skylar. Skylar is a true cuddle mouse who is very attached to her people. She is looking for a loving home with people who will meet her, despite her chronic illness, with responsibility and affection.

Seit März 2023 lebt sie in Deutschland in einer Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern und einer Katze. Sie ist verspielt, sportlich und geht gern spazieren. Auch in der Hundeschule ist sie mit Begeisterung dabei. Dort hat sie erfolgreich gelernt, ihren Jagdtrieb unter Kontrolle zu bringen – das klappt inzwischen sehr gut. Skylar ist sterilisiert, vollständig geimpft und bestens sozialisiert. Sie versteht sich sowohl mit Kindern als auch mit Katzen. Im Februar 2025 wurde bei ihr Morbus Addison diagnostiziert. Diese Erkrankung ist gut behandelbar: Skylar benötigt einmal im Monat eine Hormonspritze (Kosten: ca. 67 €) sowie Tabletten (ca. 30 € jährlich). Laut Tierarzt kann sie mit dieser Behandlung ein ganz normales, langes Hundeleben führen.
