Snoopy

Mixed Breed Β· Male Β· Young Β· 1 year

SnoopyMale dog, likely to be medium/large in size when fully grown. Approx. 1 year old (July 2026). Loves to playfight and chase his siblings! Meet SnoopyThis handsome pup is Snoopy. He was found with his mum and siblings in the middle of nowhere, sadly abandoned to die. Thankfully our lovely rescuer alerted us to their plight and they were taken to safety. The pups are all a little shy but we have recently split the pack to stop sibling rivalry and they are now starting to show their personalities. Snoopy is vaccinated, negative on tests and will be neutered before travel to the UK. All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021). About Snoopy

What life with Snoopy looks like

Snoopy is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Balkan Underdogs in Tirana.

A young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible β€” a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Snoopy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Snoopy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Balkan Underdogs handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Snoopy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Snoopy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Balkan Underdogs will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Snoopy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Snoopy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Balkan Underdogs early rather than rehoming privately; they know Snoopy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
