Adopt Sorgo

Female · Young · 1 year

Siblings 499/25-501/25, three kittens (the same little kittens) arrived at the animal shelter and urgently need to find loving homes. The kittens are still young cats. Their bodies are very delicate and particularly vulnerable to bacteria and viruses. For this reason, the little ones should leave the animal shelter as soon as possible. We are looking for caring and responsible caretakers for them. Due to the well-being of the kittens and concern for their proper development, we recommend adopting the little ones in pairs or a single kitten for a young resident cat. Adopting such kittens requires dedication and knowledge, so if you lack experience with kittens, we encourage you to read the kitten care guide after adoption, which contains the most important information about raising a kitten. Thanks to it, the caregiver will be able to better prepare for welcoming the little one into the home. Guide Before Adoption Suggest familiarizing yourself with the pre-adoption questionnaire and coming to the animal shelter with the completed form: Note: When deciding to adopt a cat or considering it, definitely bring a cat transporter or a transport bag to the animal shelter. Before adoption, make sure your home or apartment is safe and properly prepared for the new family member. Remember to secure the windows and balcony.

Rodzeństwo 499/25-501/25 Trójka kociąt (same koteczki) trafiła do schroniska i potrzebuje pilnie znaleźć kochające domy. Maluchy to jeszcze kocie dzieci. Pamiętaj, żeby zabezpieczyć okna i balkon.

About Sorgo

What life with Sorgo looks like

Sorgo is a small young adult cat waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

Note from the shelter: Very young kitten requiring urgent placement due to vulnerability to bacteria and viruses in shelter environment

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sorgo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sorgo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sorgo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sorgo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sorgo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sorgo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sorgo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
