Adopt Special Squeaky

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 4 months

NOW IN FOSTER CARE IN ESSEX, UK This sweet little man urgently needs a loving, comfortable, warm and secure home. He lived at the bottom of my road and I feed him every day but now he is in my home. He will need a home with outside access once fully settled. He has such a big character…. cheeky Squeaky! Call him Squeaky as when he talks he sounds like a kitten, not an adult. He is a very chatty boy. Very cuddly! He had an infection in the past in some teeth which fell out and thankfully healed alone but means he dribbles that side so may need a little wipe occasionally. Please open your heart and home to him, he needs to be saved! Neve | Powered by WordPress Neve | Powered by WordPress

About Special Squeaky

What life with Special Squeaky looks like

Special Squeaky is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Cyprus Pride House in Cyprus.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇨🇾Adopting from Cyprus

Cypriot rescues focus heavily on cross-border placements (the island has more strays than local adopters). Animals are fully vetted before flying. The adopter pays the transport, while the shelter coordinates vaccinations, chipping, and the passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Special Squeaky, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Special Squeaky?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Cyprus Pride House handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Special Squeaky on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Special Squeaky if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Cyprus Pride House will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Special Squeaky already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Special Squeaky isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Cyprus Pride House early rather than rehoming privately; they know Special Squeaky and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
