Spice is a 2018-born male cat with a very sweet and gentle character. He was originally adopted by one of our volunteers along with his sister Sugar. The kittens were tiny at the time. They had a beautiful life for several years. Sugar has since passed away, and the owner has decided to return to the UK for health reasons. Unfortunately, she cannot take Spice with her. After his arrival, Spice hid in his bed for a few days. He has since become more confident and comes out to be petted and rubbed on his belly. He is a sweet and gentle cat, still a bit playful, but also enjoys relaxing with his caregivers. He is easy to lift and handle. Spice has a cute little stub tail and has a bit of a squint. He got along well with his sister and showed no aggression towards the other cats he met at the shelter. Unfortunately, he has not yet found a close friend here and lives alone in his enclosure. We do not believe he has had experience with dogs. In his new home, Spice would like to live with a non-dominant cat. As an older cat, he would prefer a home without small children and without dogs. He would love to have access to an outdoor area, such as a connected balcony or a secure garden. His owner found it very difficult to give him up and would be very happy to know him in a real home instead of in a shelter cage.

Die Kätzchen waren damals noch winzig klein. Einige Jahre führten sie ein schönes Leben. Mittlerweile ist Sugar verstorben und die Besitzerin hat sich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen entschlossen, nach Großbritanien zurückzugehen. Leider kann sie Spice nicht mitnehmen.Nach seiner Ankunft versteckte sich Spice einige Tage in seinem Körbchen. Mittlerweile ist er viel selbstbewusster geworden und kommt heraus, um sich streicheln und am Bauch kraulen zu lassen. Er ist ein lieber, sanftmütiger Kater, noch etwas verspielt, er entspannt sich aber auch gerne mit seinen Bezugspersonen. Er lässt sich leicht hochheben und handhaben. Spice hat einen entzückenden, kleinen Stummelschwanz und schielt ein bisschen.Mit seiner Schwester hat er sich gut verstanden und er zeigte keinerlei Aggressionen gegenüber den anderen Katzen, mit denen er im Tierheim zusammengetroffen ist. Leider hat er hier noch keinen einzigen engen Freund gefunden und lebt alleine in seinem Gehege.Wir glauben nicht, dass er bisher Erfahrung mit Hunden gemacht hat.In seinem neuen Zuhause würde Spice gerne mit einer nicht dominanten Katze zusammenleben. Als ältere Katze würde er ein Zuhause ohne kleine Kinder und ohne Hunde bevorzugen. Sehr gerne hätte er Zugang zu einem Außenbereich, wie einem vernetzten Balkon oder gesicherten Garten.Seiner Besitzerin ist es sehr schwer gefallen ihn abzugeben und sie würde sich sehr freuen, ihn wieder in einem richtigen Zuhause zu wissen, statt im Tierheim in einem Zwinger.
