Character strong, confident and sometimes a bit stubborn - but that's exactly what makes him so special. He is "young at heart", playful and full of energy. Ball games? Great. Challenged? Absolutely. Just walking by? Not really. Spike knows the basic commands and generally likes to work with them - provided his human knows what they're doing. He needs a confident, clear leadership, because he questions decisions quite often. With the right guidance, he shows himself to be eager to learn and motivated. For Spike, we are looking for people with breed or at least shepherd dog experience who enjoy physically and mentally challenging him. He needs exercise, tasks and structure - a life in the city center would not be suitable for him. A quieter environment with space and opportunities for activity would be ideal. Spike is mostly compatible with female dogs. Children should not live in the new home. Despite his strong character, Spike also has a soft side: If the bond is right, he enjoys cuddling moments - but please only after "work". Spike is not looking for a beginner's home, but people who set clear boundaries, give him security and have a desire for an active, clever companion.

Charakterstark, selbstbewusst und manchmal ein bisschen stur – aber genau das macht ihn so besonders. Er ist &bdquo;jung im Kopf&ldquo, verspielt und voller Energie. Ballspielen? Großartig. Gefordert werden? Unbedingt. Einfach nur nebenherlaufen? Eher nicht. Spike kennt die Grundkommandos und arbeitet grundsätzlich gerne mit – vorausgesetzt, sein Mensch weiß, was er tut. Er braucht eine souveräne, klare Führung, denn er hinterfragt Entscheidungen durchaus mal. Mit der richtigen Anleitung zeigt er sich lernwillig und motiviert. Für Spike wünschen wir uns Menschen mit Rasse- bzw. zumindest Schäferhund-Erfahrung, die Freude daran haben, ihn körperlich und geistig auszulasten. Er braucht Bewegung, Aufgaben und Struktur – ein Leben in der Innenstadt wäre für ihn daher nicht passend. Ein ruhigeres Umfeld mit Platz und Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten wäre ideal. Mit Hündinnen ist Spike größtenteils verträglich. Kinder sollten eher nicht im neuen Zuhause leben. Trotz seines starken Charakters hat Spike auch eine weiche Seite: Wenn die Bindung stimmt, genießt er durchaus Kuschelmomente – aber bitte erst nach getaner &bdquo;Arbeit“.
