Besonders gut könnten wir uns für sie einen Platz bei einem souveränen, freundlichen Rüden vorstellen, der etwa in ihrem Alter oder etwas älter ist. Im Tierheim zeigt sich Alexis fremden Personen gegenüber zunächst unsicher. Situationen, die sie noch nicht einschätzen kann, verunsichern sie rasch und sie neigt dazu, fremde Personen aus Unsicherheit beziehungsweise Angst zu verbellen. Beim Kennenlernen braucht sie deshalb vor allem Zeit, Geduld und Menschen, die ihr den notwendigen Raum geben, ohne sie zu bedrängen. Mit anderen Hunden zeigt sich Alexis ausgesprochen freundlich und verspielt. Besonders mit ihr bekannten Rüden ist sie im gemeinsamen Alltag unkompliziert und genießt den sozialen Kontakt sehr.
