The approximately 3-year-old male was given up by his family to our vet on Rhodes. The reason: the couple is separating. The woman has already left the island, and the man cannot or does not want to keep Spithos. A world has collapsed for Spithos. He only knows life in a family, a warm home, and his familiar people. Since we couldn't find a place for him quickly, he currently lives on a field where he is cared for. But it's clear how much the situation is affecting him. Every time we leave, a sad dog remains behind, who doesn't understand why he suddenly lost everything. Spithos is a sweet, people-oriented little dog who knows life in a house and is naturally housebroken. Currently, he shows loss anxiety, which is not surprising given his fate. Therefore, we cannot yet say for sure how well he can stay alone in a new environment. However, this was possible in his previous home. Spithos weighs about 6 kg, is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has all the necessary papers. He is therefore ready to travel immediately. We urgently wish for a loving family or foster care for this little treasure, which will give him security, comfort, and trust again. Der etwa 3 Jahre alte Rüde wurde von seiner Familie bei unserem Tierarzt auf Rhodos abgegeben. Der Grund: Das Ehepaar trennt sich. Die Frau hat die Insel bereits verlassen, und der Mann kann oder möchte Spithos nicht behalten. Für Spithos ist eine Welt zusammengebrochen. Er kennt nur das Leben in einer Familie, ein warmes Zuhause und seine vertrauten Menschen. Da wir auf die Schnelle keinen Platz für ihn finden konnten, lebt er derzeit auf einem Feld, wo er versorgt wird. Doch man merkt ihm deutlich an, wie sehr ihn die Situation belastet. Jedes Mal, wenn wir gehen, bleibt ein trauriger Hund zurück, der nicht versteht, warum er plötzlich alles verloren hat. Spithos ist ein lieber, menschenbezogener kleiner Hund, der das Leben im Haus kennt und selbstverständlich stubenrein ist. Aktuell zeigt er Verlustängste, was nach seinem Schicksal nicht verwunderlich ist. Deshalb können wir noch nicht sicher sagen, wie gut er in einer neuen Umgebung alleine bleiben kann. In seinem bisherigen Zuhause war das jedoch problemlos möglich. Spithos wiegt etwa 6 kg, ist kastriert, geimpft, gechippt und besitzt alle notwendigen Papiere. Er ist somit sofort ausreisebereit. Für diesen kleinen Schatz wünschen wir uns dringend eine liebevolle Familie oder eine Pflegestelle, die ihm wieder Sicherheit, Geborgenheit und Vertrauen schenkt.
