Spring

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 3 months

Hello Everyone! My name is Spring, i am a 14 week old little bundle of joy. Did you know: I was born with a kink in my tail, this doesn’t affect me at all except for making me look super cute and unique. My personality: I am a very confident girl, I love to explore and play with the other kittens here. I spend most of my days running around the cattery and having fusses from the humans. My ideal home: I am looking for my forever home, one where I can climb, explore and play! I am a friendly girl and have gotten on well with all the humans and cats I have met so far, so I could definitely live with children and another cat. Access to outdoors: Once i have grown up to be bigger I would love to explore the world and be able to go out. Toileting: I am litter trained, at the moment I prefer wood pellet litter. Do you have a Spring shaped space in your home? My adoption fee is £175

About Spring

What life with Spring looks like

Spring is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Spring, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Spring?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Spring on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Spring if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Spring already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Spring isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Spring and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
