Stan: a terribly sweet, modest and gentle little fellow 1 year old who is looking for a golden basket. Stan came to us as a stray and no one seemed to miss this guy. But we promised him that now we would find him a place where he is very welcome! Stan is just a terribly sweet and modest boy, he always lies in his scratching post and is too modest to come to you directly. Especially if the other cats are with you first then you see that he thinks; I'll wait. But when you walk over to him, talk to him and pet him, he enjoys it intensely! He purrs, makes rolls and seems to find it almost special that you give him all that attention. We are also all touched by how gentle this guy is. Stan lives here with cats and that goes fine, but he does let himself be bullied by any self-confident cats. He could live together with a cat, provided this is also a sweet, gentle cat. Dogs find him really exciting and that's why we don't place him with a dog. Stan just doesn't fit in a busier household and/or with young children. What older children or a house without children would be fine for him. Stan officially comes from outside and this is what he would get used to, although we never see him in the outdoor run here. A screened garden or a run will also be possible for him. For Stan we are looking for very nice people who find him just as cute as we do. People who fall for his soft character and give him a golden basket!

Stan: een vreselijk lief, bescheiden en zachtaardig kereltje van 1 jaar jong die opzoek is naar een gouden mandje. Stan is als zwerver bij ons binnen gekomen en niemand bleek dit ventje te missen. Maar wij hebben hem beloofd om nu een plekje voor hem te vinden waar hij wel heel welkom is! Stan is gewoon een vreselijk lief en bescheiden mannetje, hij ligt altijd in zijn krabpaal en is veel te bescheiden om direct bij je te komen. Zeker als de andere katten eerst bij je zijn dan zie je dat hij denkt; ik wacht wel. Maar als je dan naar hem toe loopt, tegen hem praat en hem aait, geniet hij hier intens van! Hij spint, maakt rolletjes en lijkt het bijna speciaal te vinden dat je hem al die aandacht geeft. Wij zijn hier ook allemaal vertederd door hoe zachtaardig dit ventje is. Stan leeft hier samen met katten en dat gaat prima, maar hij laat zich door eventuele zelfverzekerde katten wel pesten. Hij zou samen kunnen wonen met een kat, mits dit is ook een lieve, zachtaardige kat is. Honden vindt hij echt heel spannend en daarom plaatsen we hem niet bij een hond. Stan past gewoon niet in een drukker huishouden en/of bij jonge kinderen. Wat oudere kinderen of een huis zonder kinderen zal prima zijn voor hem. Stan komt officieel van buiten en dit zou hij dus gewend zijn, al zien we hem hier nooit in de buitenren. Een afgeschermde tuin of een ren zal dus mogelijk ook prima zijn voor hem. Voor Stan zoeken wij dus hele lieve mensen die hem net zo schattig vinden als wij. Mensen die vallen voor zijn zachte karakter en hem een gouden mandje geven!
