Frequently asked

Adopting Star and Simba, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Star and Simba?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Marley handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Star and Simba on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Star and Simba if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Marley what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Star and Simba already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Marley directly what is included and what Star and Simba still needs.
What happens if Star and Simba isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Marley early rather than rehoming privately; they know Star and Simba and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
