Zip est un chien plein d'énergie mais qui n'a pas appris à gérer son excitation, il aura donc besoin d'éducation et d'un foyer sans jeunes enfants. Il aura besoin de découvrir avec douceur le monde qu'il entoure car il n'a pas connu grand chose en dehors de son jardin. Zip est un chien très joueur et affectueux qui sait rester quelques heures seul. Zip est sociable avec certains congénères sous réserve de tests mais ne connait pas les chats.
