At first, she was very shy and reserved, observing everything cautiously from a distance and not quite sure if she could trust us. However, the longer we spent with her and the more security she gained from familiar faces, the more the little mouse thawed. Eventually, she even allowed herself to be gently touched and took the treats gently from our hand. Small moments for many – but for her, big steps full of courage and trust. It’s immediately clear how loving and sensitive she is. She doesn’t push herself to the forefront but hopes quietly to be seen and understood. With other dogs, she shows herself to be compatible and social, which further emphasizes her gentle nature. A very sweet mouse who simply needs people who meet her with patience, calmness, and love. Once she has gained trust, she will surely be a wonderful companion for life. Hat sie jedoch Vertrauen gefasst, zeigt sie ihr wahres Wesen: eine treue, anhängliche Seele, die am liebsten ganz nah bei ihrem Menschen ist und ihm gerne überallhin folgt. Suki liebt Spaziergänge, kleine Gartenrunden und gemütliche Stunden auf der Couch. Im Garten darf es auch gerne einmal etwas sportlicher zugehen – dann flitzt sie voller Freude herum oder macht es sich anschließend auf der Gartenbank gemütlich. Suki lernt schnell und gewinnt jeden Tag ein Stück mehr Sicherheit. Autofahren klappt bereits prima und überhaupt ist sie gerne dabei, wenn ihr Mensch unterwegs ist. Andere Hunde sind für sie dabei eher Nebensache – ihr Mensch ist eindeutig wichtiger. Als Einzelhund würde sie sich daher sehr wohlfühlen, ein souveräner Zweithund wäre nach Sympathie aber ebenfalls denkbar. Suki ist lernwillig, menschenbezogen und möchte ihrem Menschen gefallen. Sie braucht keine großen Abenteuer, um glücklich zu sein: Zeit mit ihrem Menschen, ein gemütlicher Platz zum Kuscheln und liebevolle, klare Führung reichen ihr vollkommen. Für Suki suchen wir ein erfahrenes, liebevolles und konsequentes Zuhause, das ihr die nötige Zeit gibt, in Ruhe anzukommen und weiter Sicherheit zu gewinnen. Kleine Kinder sollte es im Haushalt nicht geben, ältere Kinder ab etwa 10 Jahren sind gut vorstellbar. Ideal wäre für Suki ein ruhiges, eher ländliches Zuhause mit einem sicher eingezäunten Garten. Vor allem aber wünschen wir uns Menschen, die ausreichend Zeit für sie haben – denn Suki ist am liebsten dort, wo ihr Mensch ist.
