Suki

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 4 months

Suki has already lived through far more than any cat should. For years, she survived on the streets in the same neighborhood, giving birth to litter after litter while people watched but never stopped to help her. No one spayed her. No one gave her safety. She simply kept surviving the only way she could. Her last surviving kitten, Portokalo, has already found his forever home. Now it’s finally Suki’s turn. One of the most emotional things about Suki is how much she adores comfort. The day she was rescued was likely the first time in her life that she ever touched a proper soft bed and it completely changed her world. She climbed onto it carefully, almost as if she couldn’t believe something so soft could exist for her. Since then, she never wants to leave it. It genuinely feels as though she is still fascinated by comfort itself. Watching her curl up safely into blankets and cushions after years on concrete, dirt, cold ground, and survival made her foster cry. There is something deeply moving about seeing an animal discover softness, warmth, and safety for the first time. Suki is also very affectionate with humans. She loves being near people in a very calm, quiet way, never demanding, never chaotic, simply grateful for love and gentleness. One of her funniest habits is sitting at the table like a tiny human, perched upright on a chair as if she fully expects to join the conversation or politely judge everyone’s life decisions over dinner. She gets along well with other cats and has a peaceful, respectful nature around them. She is not interested in drama or conflict. After everything she has been through, Suki simply wants comfort, kindness, and stability. She also has reduced vision in one eye but it doesn’t bother her in the slightest. She navigates life perfectly well and carries on with complete confidence and calmness, as though she long ago decided that such small inconveniences simply are not worth worrying about. Suki is not flashy or demanding. She is the kind of cat you slowly fall completely in love with, the quiet companion sleeping peacefully nearby, the gentle presence curled into blankets, the grateful soul who finally understands what safety feels like. After years of surviving outside and raising babies alone, Suki deserves a home where she will never again have to fight for comfort, warmth, or love. She deserves soft beds, peaceful naps, gentle affection, and the security of finally belonging to someone who will cherish her for the rest of her life.

About Suki

What life with Suki looks like

Suki is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Amospet in Skopje.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇲🇰Adopting from North Macedonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Suki, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Suki?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Amospet handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Suki on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Suki if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Amospet will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Suki already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Suki isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Amospet early rather than rehoming privately; they know Suki and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
