Her story: No other name would have suited our shining Sunnie with her sunny disposition better! Sunnie was taken in by one of our volunteers at seven months old in Bistrita, but no one knows where she came from or what she has experienced so far. Her fate has been kind to her, as now she has the chance for a completely different life: She so desperately wishes for a home where she can be discovered, played with, and cuddled. The young Sunnie has beautiful, black, curly fur with a few lighter accents on her head and legs. Her playful ears give her a very cute look. Her face almost seems to be smiling as her brown eyes shine with friendliness. In the medium-sized female dog lies a colorful mix of different breeds, making it currently difficult to say what traits will show up over time. Sunnie has already met cats and gets along with them. Other dogs are no problem either. She enjoys the attention she gets from people, behaves very sweet, loving, and open. Like Sunnie in some pictures tilts her head, it shows her curiosity. No wonder with so many new experiences! In her sleeps a playful and clever female dog. Right now, Sunnie is in puberty, where the hormone change can already cause mood swings. Sometimes boundaries are tested or mischief is made. But whoever guides Sunnie with understanding, patience, and security will earn her trust. For us humans, it is also valuable to have a constant to orient ourselves by. Additionally, Sunnie still knows only a few basic rules. On the streets of Romania, things like house training or leash walking were not important. With calmness and perseverance, Sunnie's new family will surely teach her all of that quickly. After an appropriate settling-in period, it would be great if a positively working dog training class is attended to practice more specific commands. Sunnie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She has an EU pet passport and can be adopted after a positive foster home for her. Ihre Geschichte: Kein anderer Name hätte besser zu unserer strahlenden Sunnie mit sonnigem Gemüt gepasst! Sunnie wurde mit ihren sieben Monaten von einer unserer Helferinnen in Bistrita aufgenommen aber niemand weiß, woher sie kommt und was sie bisher erlebt hat. Das Schicksal meinte es gut mit ihr, denn jetzt hat sie die Chance auf ein ganz anderes Leben: Sie wünscht sich so sehr ein Zuhause, wo entdeckt, gespielt und gekuschelt werden kann. Die junge Sunnie hat schönes, schwarzes, lockiges Fell und ein paar hellere Akzente an Kopf und Beinen. Ihre lustigen Ohren verleihen ihr etwas sehr niedliches. Ihr Gesichtsausdruck sieht fast so aus, als würde sie lächeln während ihre braunen Augen freundlich strahlen. In der mittelgroßen Hündin steckt eine bunte Mischung verschiedener Rassen, weshalb sich momentan auch noch schwierig sagen lässt, welche Eigenschaften sich über die Zeit noch zeigen werden. Sunnie hat bereits Katzen kennengelernt und verträgt sich mit ihnen. Auch andere Hunde sind kein Problem. Sie genießt die Aufmerksamkeit, die sie von Menschen bekommt, verhält sich sehr süß, lieb und aufgeschlossen. Wie Sunnie auf manchen Bildern ihren Kopf schief hält, zeigt ihre Neugierde. Kein Wunder bei so vielen neuen Erlebnissen! In ihr schlummert eine verspielte und kluge Hündin. Gerade ist Sunnie in der Pubertät, wo die Hormonumstellung schon mal das Gemüt zum schwanken bringen kann. Manchmal werden Grenzen ausgetestet oder Unfug angestellt. Wer sie hier aber mit Verständnis, Geduld und Sicherheit begleitet, wird im Gegenzug Sunnies Vertrauen gewinnen. Für uns Menschen ist es ja auch wertvoll, eine Konstante zu haben, an der man sich orientieren kann. Zudem kennt Sunnie noch wenige Grundregeln. Auf Rumäniens Straßen waren Dinge wie Stubenreinheit oder Leinenführigkeit nicht wichtig. Mit Ruhe und Ausdauer wird Sunnies neue Familie ihr aber alles sicherlich recht schnell beibringen können. Nach angemessener Eingewöhnungszeit wäre es super, wenn eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule aufgesucht wird, um noch spezifischere Kommandos üben zu können. Sunnie ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro zu ihrem neuen Zuhause reisen. Über eine Pflegestelle für sie würden wir uns auch sehr freuen. Na? Konnte Sunnie schon bei jemandem punkten?
