During this visit, she was once again one of the insecure dogs in the kennel, avoiding any approach and maintaining a certain safety distance from us. With large, insecure eyes, she looked at us from the hut. SUSAN could never learn what it means to trust humans – and in the shelter, it is almost impossible to make significant progress with the few and short visits of the volunteers. Therefore, we hope that SUSAN will finally have the chance to be seen by experienced and sensitive people who will take her by the paw and gently lead her step by step to coexist on the sunny side. Since her presence with other dogs gives her security, the compatible SUSAN would benefit from a nice only dog by her side.———–October 2024:SUSAN continued to show a fearful demeanor. She tried to maintain the greatest distance possible between us. Not even our treats interested her. She lives in the kennel with several other female dogs and one male dog and seems compatible. Contact: Our dogs are vaccinated (rabies and 2x basic immunization) are microchipped and equipped with the EU pet passport at our expense (we cover the lab fees) tested for common Mediterranean diseases: Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, leishmaniasis, rickettsiae, filariasis, hepatozoonosis, anaplasmosis are only tested after a positive result. Auch bei diesem Besuch war sie erneut einer der unsicheren Hunde des Kennels, wich jeder Annäherung aus und hielt stets einen gewissen Sicherheitsabstand zu uns ein. Mit großen, unsicheren Äuglein blickte sie uns aus der Hütte heraus an. SUSAN durfte nie lernen, was es heißt, Menschen zu vertrauen – und im Shelter ist es fast unmöglich, bei den wenigen und kurzen Besuchen der Volontärinnen große Fortschritte zu erzielen. Daher hoffen wir für SUSAN, dass sie nun endlich die Chance erhält und von erfahrenen und einfühlsamen Menschen gesehen wird, die sie an die Pfote nehmen und behutsam Stück für Stück an ein Zusammenleben auf der Sonnenseite heranführen. Da ihr die Anwesenheit anderer Hunde Sicherheit gibt, würde die verträgliche SUSAN von einem netten Ersthund an ihrer Seite profitieren.———–Oktober 2024:SUSAN zeigte sich leider weiterhin scheu. Sie versuchte, möglichst großen Abstand zwischen uns zu bringen. Nicht einmal unsere Leckerlis fand sie interessant.Sie lebt im Kennel mit weiteren Hündinnen und einem Rüden zusammen und scheint verträglich. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt. Wichtige Dokumente:Selbstauskunft für AdoptantenSelbstauskunft für Pflegestellen *Die Angaben zu den Hunden (insbesondere den Hunden, die noch in Rumänien sind) erfolgen ohne Gewähr.
