Die Sind wir beide nicht ein hübschen Pärchen ? Und nicht nur das - wir haben uns in einer Straßengang kennen gelernt - ich, der nur auf einem Auge sehende Sylvester und die hübsche Polly - der Liebling der Straßenkatzen schlechthin. Wir sind auf einem Bauernhof zugelaufen, schon einige Zeit her, haben uns dort eingenistet, zusammen mit noch einigen Samtpfoten. Unser Markenzeichen - wir tragen alle schwarzen Pelz und schwer auseinander zu erkennen. Lediglich unsere Mädels haben sich in Schale geworfen - "schildpatt" nennt man deren Fellmäntel - immer auffallend und unser aller Augen auf sich ziehend. Leider sind wir jetzt schon so viele, dass der Herr Bürgermeister meinte - wer zutraulich ist, muss weg! Die liebe Isabella hat dies gleich zum Anlass genommen und uns eingepackt und ins Tierheim Hallein gebracht. Von Anfang an haben wir uns hier sauwohl gefühlt und in Anbetracht dessen, dass jetzt der kalte Winter vor der Tür steht, hätte uns nichts besseres passieren können. Jedenfalls kleben wir aneinander und wollen unser derzeitiges Daheim nur gemeinsam verlassen. Wir lieben unser Personal, dass uns täglich mit leckerem Futter verwöhnt, unsere Bettchen macht und auch sonst schaut, dass wir gestreichelt und lieb gehabt werden. Trotzdem sagen sie hier, dass wir nicht auf Dauer bleiben können, zu viele Miezen warten auf ebenso eine Chance und daher müssen wir uns um neue Dienstboten schauen. Aber Isabella macht das schon, sie kennt uns uns weiss, was Stubentiger mögen. Wir sind bereits kastriert, geimpft und gechipt und wenn uns jemand wirklich zu Gesicht steht, dann würden wir uns dazu überreden lassen und unser Koffer packen.
